   Minka Bleakley - Filmmaker
Minka Bleakley is an Australian-American filmmaker, screenwriter, and creative director with over a decade of experience across film and advertising. She has collaborated with award-winning directors, producers, and leading agencies on projects spanning independent film, network and cable television, and global brand campaigns.

Minka is the recipient of the 2019 Teaching Fellowship at Columbia University, the 2020 Indian Paintbrush Grant, and the CUFF 2021 Best Teleplay (Drama) Award. She was a semifinalist for the 2021 Humanitas Prize. Her work has screened at Academy-qualifying festivals including Seattle International Film Festival and Palm Springs ShortFest, as well as St. Kilda Film Festival, among others.

She is currently developing the television series The Collection with Pretty Matches Productions in New York.

Minka holds an MFA with Honors in Screenwriting from Columbia University and a BA from Bard College.
